10 @ 10 2nd class!

2^nd class have been getting active in our classroom every day!  We have been following RTE’s Operation Transformation 10 @ 10 exercises so we can be fit and healthy in 2019!

Moving and Measuring Outside!

We love when classes get up, out and moving around during the day! Here are both 1st classes using their measuring skills in the yard!

Football Stars

The boys in our school our very active in our local Football clubs. We had some big winners with Goal Scorer of the Year and Player of the Year. Well done boys!

Every year in January we try focus on yoga in the classroom, we love mixing our getting up and moving with some mindfulness and it really helps us in class!! This year to help our Gaeilge we are trying to do our yoga as Gaeilge with our 14 Óga Yóga poses!! Take a look...

Christmas Advent Calendar

What is better than a chocolate Advent calendar? A get up and get moving Advent Calendar!!
Every day in December, we open a window and start the day with a new Christmas themed exercise!! A great start to the cold mornings... brrr...

Go Noodles for November!

We love our School wide November competition. Each class has to get as many Go Noodle points as they can. We keep score on our Active School board so that we can keep an eye on the competition!! It is a great way for us to stay moving on the wet November days!!
