Welcome to Virtual Sports Week!
Hi everyone!
We hope you’re all keeping safe
and you are all doing well. Active Week is normally a fun week in school and we
really didn’t want to miss it this year.
This week we will have a few
different activities for you to do at home each day. We are aiming for 60
minutes activity each day. So get active!
We’ll start off each day with a
Daily Starter. There is then a Teacher Challenge and a sporting activity to do.
This week we are also asking everyone to get out and jog or walk for a mile
EVERY DAY! We will keep track and see how many miles we cover. There is a link
to our tally each day. Please log any miles that you do by clicking the Daily
Mile Link and entering your name.
We really want to see how
everyone is getting on at home and see all those lovely faces so please upload
your videos and pictures to our padlet. Please make sure videos are under 2
minutes as otherwise they won’t load. Monday’s activity is a simple dance to
learn. We hope to make a virtual flash mob so please upload videos of your
dance on Monday’s padlet.
We hope you all have fun this
week and take part in as much as possible!
Have fun and be active!
Go to the Virtual Active Week Website
here or see today’s activities below. Links to the website, the Daily Mile
Tracker and the video galleries are also on the right hand side of this blog.
