Yoga in Junior Infants

We love to do yoga in Junior Infants! We are getting really good at stretching & balancing & can hold our poses for much longer now. Our favourite websites to follow are Cosmic Kids & Oga Yoga!

10 @ 10 2nd class!

2^nd class have been getting active in our classroom every day!  We have been following RTE’s Operation Transformation 10 @ 10 exercises so we can be fit and healthy in 2019!

Moving and Measuring Outside!

We love when classes get up, out and moving around during the day! Here are both 1st classes using their measuring skills in the yard!

Football Stars

The boys in our school our very active in our local Football clubs. We had some big winners with Goal Scorer of the Year and Player of the Year. Well done boys!

Every year in January we try focus on yoga in the classroom, we love mixing our getting up and moving with some mindfulness and it really helps us in class!! This year to help our Gaeilge we are trying to do our yoga as Gaeilge with our 14 Óga Yóga poses!! Take a look...
