3rd class enjoying the 10@10 activities!

Is brea linn Seachtain na Gaeilge!!

In March we do lots of fun activities, exercises and sports as Gaeilge!

We have Cluichí sa Chlós- where every class comes to the yard and does PE as gaeilge at the same time! Bíonn an-spórt againn!!!

In the classrooms we do lots of fun active games for Gaeilge! Here is 1st class learning the time by playing 'Cén t-am é a Mhac Tíre' 

10 at 10!!

Ever year we finish our 10 at 10 by getting the whole school together to do 10 at 10!!
This year was so much fun, a group of 6th class girls came up with an exercise routine for the whole school.
We did-
Jumping Jacks
Frog Jumps
High Knees
Toe Touches
and loads more.

6th Class picked really fun music for us to do it with too!!

3rd Class love 10 @ 10 so much they do it twice!! Once in English agus arís as Gaeilge!! WOW!!

Yoga in Junior Infants

We love to do yoga in Junior Infants! We are getting really good at stretching & balancing & can hold our poses for much longer now. Our favourite websites to follow are Cosmic Kids & Oga Yoga!

10 @ 10 2nd class!

2^nd class have been getting active in our classroom every day!  We have been following RTE’s Operation Transformation 10 @ 10 exercises so we can be fit and healthy in 2019!
